I have been an Art Director at DDB, McCann, Lowe Roche and Leo Burnett and have served as a judge at Cannes twice, D&AD twice, The One Show, Communication Arts, The Clios, The Andys, The New York Art Directors Club, Creative Circle and also chaired the Marketing Awards in Canada.
I have been featured in several publications including Shots magazine, the Globe and Mail, Communication Arts, ‘Who’s Who in Canada’, ‘100 Canadians to watch’, ‘Outstanding Women’ and appeared on the front cover of ‘Report on Business’.
In 1999, Lorraine Tao and Andy Macaulay and I co-founded an agency called Zig. We grew Zig from 0 clients and 0 staff, to a 130 person ‘Agency of the Year’ in 3 years. We won agency of the year in 2002 and remained in the top 5 agencies from that point on. Winning at Cannes, The One Show, D&AD, The Clios, quickly winning a range of high profile business including Unilever, Molson Coors, Virgin Mobile and IKEA.
Our mission at Zig was to do "ideas in their most powerful form", long before the idea of media agnosticism was popular. We expanded to Chicago in 2005, selling the business to MDC/Crispin Porter Bogusky in 2006.
In 2009 I moved to London, the place where I was born, where I became ECD at digital agency Profero. There I helped win a number of awards, including AdAge ‘Top 10 agency to watch’, BIMA ‘Agency of the Year 2011’ and received the Grand Prix at Creative Showcase Awards. I helped win and led the digital work for M&S, Barclays, and MINI as well as creating the vision for ASOS marketplace.
I was then invited to be ECD of M&C Saatchi and was there for 2 1/2 years, leading pitches that we won for Peroni, Virgin Holidays, Blue Cross and Boots digital. I also led the way to get Transport for London awarded as runnner up for ‘Advertiser of the Year’.
I am currently Group Creative Director at FCB Inferno, and have helped win NPower and led the pitches we won for UEFA and Holland & Barrett. My latest campaign, which launched in June, was for UEFA Girls’ football and has 21 million views (and counting) was built ‘from the girl up’ not ‘the brand down’, and was awarded Campaign Pick of the week.
All the work shown I either conceived, art directed, creative directed, co-creative directed or was the Executive Creative Director.
